A properly fitted bra can change the way a woman carries herself. We’ve seen it thousands of times. And we couldn’t stop asking — what about the women who may not have a bra?
From the very beginning, Uplift has been rooted in the Carmel, IN community — not just as a boutique, but as a neighbor. We believe that the transformative power of feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin belongs to every woman, regardless of her circumstances. That belief is what drives our work with five organizations serving some of the most vulnerable women in our community:
We actively support the organizations below who are powerfully serving women and families in the Carmel, IN and surrounding areas:
Supports survivors of all ages throughout their journey. We specialize in working with adults, teens, and children who have experienced trauma.
Ensures equitable access to free resources, meaningful education and heartfelt emotional support to ensure no one faces breast cancer alone.
Help women who are struggling with substance use disorder. Many of the women we serve have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse; as well as homelessness.
Housing-based program designed to support single, pregnant women throughout their pregnancy and into early motherhood.
Trusted leader in placing chronically homeless neighbors into permanent, safe, supportive housing so they can thrive.
Ladies Night In
Several times a year, we open our doors for an evening dedicated entirely to women served by Prevail, Dove House, and The O’Connor House. Each guest receives a light supper, pampering, a goody bag — and a professional bra fitting. Every woman leaves with multiple bras of her own, generously donated by our vendors and clients through our *Give A Lift Bra Donation Program. For many of these women, it’s the first time anyone has ever done something just for them.
*Your gently loved bras are welcome here. Drop them off anytime — and know that they’re going somewhere they’ll be truly needed.
